Schizandra Adrenal Complex.  Anyone have a comment on this?

I ordered a 6-week supply.  Supposedly, this supplement will assist the body in coping with stress.

TEXAS!

I made a temporary change and decided to work in Houston for a bit.  Traded hurricance season for a HEAT wave.  There has been NO rain for over a month in most of TX.  I've taken 2 road trips on my motorcycle, once from Austin to Llano and back and then from Houston to San Antonio and back.  I felt like I was being slow broiled.  I'm sticking to car transportation until September.

Today's topic...  A new perspective on beauty.  Lasting beauty is rare.  Who can look good for 5, 10 or more years?   So few people stay fit over the years.  Even fewer people age well.  I've managed to maintain my physique and 6-pack abs since my college days.

The Bass Syndrome

Men are like Bass fish.  Women are like ???

Wave a wiggling, shining fishing lure in front of a Bass and he'll strike almost unknowingly.  Men can be like Bass, maybe even more so after a few drinks.  Just replace the fishing lure with cleavage and heels.  Agree?

People don't change.  Am I right?

Or is it - Very few people change.

Regardless, every time that I have been told by an ex that she will change it has not happened.

For all of you snowboarders - Mammoth Lakes, CA rocks!  The mountain has some of the best blue terrain in the US.  Earlier this week it snowed several inches per day which made it perfect for carving the slopes.  I recommend staying at the Royal Pines Resort.  I experienced excellent service, clean rooms and close proximity to the lifts.

On the drive back to LA I visited Red Rock Canyon.  I hiked a few of the hills for fun.  During warmer weather it would have been nice to camp out.  The views are fabulous.  I watched a desert thunderstorm develop from the top of a 100' rock formation.  It was surreal.

By the way, if you ever drive through Bishop, CA, go to the Subway.  I cannot believe how good the sandwich and the service was there.  Try the local favorite, the toasted Carne Asada sub with the Chipolte dressing, salsa, cilantro and cheddar cheese.

On a side note, LA traffic is just plain ugly.  I wonder how many gallons of gas are burned away by idling cars on the 405 during rush hour.  Talk about a waste of natural resources.
